At Design & Practice, we crafted the Olin Design Sample Folder as a sculptural piece to showcase the diverse papers and textures of Olin Design, highlighting the high-quality print capabilities of the uncoated range. Collaborating with our artistic practice, Rive Roshan, led by our studio founders, we transformed oil paintings into printable artwork, showcasing the paper's ability to capture every brush stroke. This tool allows designers to explore and compare different paper textures and colors side-by-side.
To engage the creative audience online, we brought the Olin brand to life not just through physical tools but also in the digital realm. In collaboration with Antalis, we launched the @olin_paper Instagram page, creating a social channel to showcase the brand.
The digital content features behind-the-scenes footage, studio videos, tactile demonstrations, typographic animations, and inspirational posts aimed at educating and inspiring the creative community about Olin. We posed questions like, “How can we animate such a tactile range for designers in the digital world?” and “How can we support designers?”
Moving forward, as we expand the Olin brand into new ranges, our focus remains on nurturing the creative audience, aiming to consistently inspire and support them.
